Olivia helped put together a number Ling Boxes as part of our ongoing support of the Westchester Medical Center's tele-therapy program.

Lila at her laptop during a tele-therapy session.  PIH proudly supports such programs at Westchester Medical (for children) and at Mt Sinai's NY Eye and Ear (for caregivers). These programs are so important during the pandemic.

These specially designed face masks permit the children we serve to see the speaker's mouth, especially their audiologists and therapists,  enabling them to judge facial expressions and read lips and pick up other verbal cues.

Representation matters! Lila was so excited to receive her new Barbie doll with hearing aids, which was donated to her and hundreds of other children from PIH and Mattel.  CBS News covered this story - watch the news story here
